2013 - It's a Wrap!

Dear SCALEFans,

Happy Holidays! As 2013 wraps up, we are very excited by the progress we've made this year and are incredibly grateful for the support of each and every one of you. A tremendous highlight of 2103 was SCALEAfrica's acceptance into the Clinton Global Initiative.

At the CGI Annual Meeting in September, we launched a new Commitment to Action to build the first sustainably-designed, technology-driven primary school at Vinza School in Zambia. Read more below on our effort to build safe, healthy classrooms and increase the effectiveness of teachers and programs. Our hope is to begin construction in April 2014!

Other great achievements on our Zambia projects include the completion of a new four-classroom building and sanitation facilities at Chitempha School and the design of a new conservation classroom at Mfuwe Day School for Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust. With these projects complete, 2000 kids are positively impacted on a daily basis by SCALEAfrica's work.

The bar is set high for 2014 with the launch of our CGI commitment at Vinza School. We operate entirely on private donations like yours - so without you, none of this is possible!

We hope you'll continue to support our expanding efforts and make a donation before the clock runs out on 2013!

Have a wonderful, healthy, prosperous New Year,
Erinn & Guy, SCALEAfrica Co-Founders
