This project was funded entirely by Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust and designed by SCALEAfrica. Chipemeble's mission is to encourage young people in the South Luangwa Valley "to be active conservationists and empower them to make the changes that are necessary to sustain livelihoods, conserve wildlife and protect the natural environment long into the future." The new building is used for meetings of the Conservation Club and the Girls' Club, giving students an opportunity to learn, share ideas, and actively participate in conservation and gender-related issues in their community. Designed to have a large verandah for gathering outside, as well as a classroom and separate interpretive learning space, the new building has already become the "hub" on the Mfuwe Secondary School campus.
