These sanitation blocks are annexes to the teacher housing. Because there is no running water at the school, this block includes its own rainwater harvesting system. The butterfly roof will collect water along the center of the building to be stored in 100 gallon rain barrels on the back side of the building. Through a gravity fed system, water will flow to the sinks and showers without the need for costly pumps or valves.
